Karen Woodhouse graduated with a 2:1 honours degree in Advertising Media and Design. Karen is delighted that she reserved a one-bedroom mezzanine apartment at Ledgard Bridge Mill, which she will move into this summer. Karen’s ideal job would be in public relations in either Leeds or Manchester. Although she has selected the location of her home prior to finding a job, Karen felt that Mirfield offers a superb location, due to the close proximity of the train station (just two minutes walk away). Excellent connections to Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Manchester, also mean that she can easily commute wherever she is based and in whatever direction her new career takes her. Stephanie Taylor is another happy buyer. Miss Taylor, aged 31, is the enterprising investor who has bought one of the prestigious apartments in the yet to be built ‘Boat House’ section.
Last year Stephanie came into a small inheritance. After much discussion with her parents she decided that she wanted to do something more exciting with her money. Stephanie was instantly taken with the project and eventually chose to buy the top floor duplex apartment with a huge 6m long balcony providing stunning views over the Mirfield countryside and river.
The new investor hopes to rent out this property until she is able to live in it herself. Stephanie says: “I think the apartment is really mint! I can’t wait to show it off to my friends!”
